Which tire size is better for 18" x 8" Rims?

225/40/R18

235/40/R18

Either one should work, actual thread width will vary from maker to maker. I think the side walls should be fairly straight.

I currently using F-Sport 18" x 8" Rims with 235/40/R18 But the new tire at local shop are currently out of stock for 235. They only have 225.

So, the feeling and control will change?

Current tires ; Good Year RS-Sport 235/40/R18
New tires ; Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 225/40/R18

Which choice is better between RE-11 and AD08???

the 2010 audi A4 comes with 18x8 rims with 245 40 18 part od the sports package wider tire will give you better handling...
