Thanks for the input. I was wanting to do 225/30/20 to avoid rubbing but there isn't any tire that size that has a load of 91 it higher. I came across a member running 245/30/20 lowered on road magnets with no issues. I hope my set up works. I'll keep you all updated.

Default 10.5"

I just removed my niche verona m151 white-machine polished and got my new MMR Roderick Rw3's--matte black/machine polished with a 5 inch chrome stainless steel lip and Falken 452's. This might be a new one, but it drives awesome on stock susp. No rubbing, no feedback or sounds or vibrations of any kind.
MMR Roderick RW3's
F 20x8.5--235/30/20 -Falken 452's
R 20x10.5--255/30/20 (452's) 38 offset

Needs a wash

Possibly a stupid question to ask but I'm thoroughly confused at this point, what offset for front and rear do I need in order to have a set of wheels fairly flush with the fenders? I feel like this is not a defined number, that it depends on the wheel, but thought I'd throw it out there in case I am wrong.

AWD 2011 IS250

I am not lowered, and will be running 18's with 225x40 tires, so I'm not too worried about rubbing.

What is the width of the wheel you'd like to get?? 18 x 8, 18 x 8.5, 18 x 9... etc. The width will also determine what offset you need to achieve a flush look. I assume that with a 225 tire you'll be sticking to an 8 inch wheel or smaller unless you want the stretch look.

You're assumptions are correct, I'll be sticking with an 8" wheel (unless I find a wheel I really like that doesn't come in an 8" width, then I might stretch to 8.5").

So I think I have decided on the wheel I want to get. It's the Konig oversteer, and I'd be getting an 18"x8" wheel. The offset is +35 front and back. From what I've read on here/understand I think the rear will sit close to flush, but are the fronts going to stick out?

I don't think they would. I'm currently running with an 18x8.5 wheel with a +35 offset in the front and they don't stick out. Your setup should technically be tucked in slightly more compared to mine. Here's what it looks like from the front at a very slight angle:

Hey all, im looking into new wheels with custom offsets.

Im hoping to snag a set of 19x8.5 wheels but am wondering what offsets i should choose to be able to have some poke and use my camber arms (only a bit) and tuck rubber.
I'll likely get 225/35/19 tires all around.

I was thinking +30 all around? Any opinions?

Looking for a happy medium between agressive and flush if that makes sense.

it wasnt completely flush in front , if you are looking for flush, 9.5 would be better
I am currently running 9.5+38 in fronts now and they look way better
also depends on how low you are , you will rub
I would say msg laobo979 , as he helped me with my wheel and tyre fitment, GL

Thinking about running a 18x9.5 +38(f) +30(r) with a 245/40. Will this work?

I want to know if i can run 235/45/17 on a set of 17x9 wheels, with +40 in front, and +30 on rear safely with no issues on my awd?

Ordered these tire specs and wheels, and while waiting for them, I had someone roll my fenders. When I told them all the specs, they were saying that the rear wheel height might be too high and I might have to get new tires on the rear if I want to have roughly the same rolling diameter.

Wheels:
19 x 8.5 +30
19 x 9.5 + 30

Tires:
225 / 35 / 19
255 / 35 / 19

He says I should have went 255/ 30 / 19 rears. I believe with using the willtheyfit website, current setup would be 3% difference, with a profile 30 rear would be a .7% difference. My question is will I for sure need new tires or would the current setup work ok?

Hi,

I was thinking of buying the following setup;

18 x 8.5 offset +33 on 225/45/18 in front
18 x 9.5 offset +22 on 255/45/18 in the back

will the rear tire rub ? Fenders are already rolled. Or should I go with 245-235 in the back ?

Thanks !

AWD
square setup; front and rear: 19x8.5 +38 offset
tires: 235/35/19

probably going to do a 1.3" drop. does this work without modifying the fenders? ty in advance.

I got a 2013 IS250 AWD and I am about to get some 18x9.5 +28. First will they fit and if they what tires you guys recommend to go on them? I'm going to be on stock suspension.
