Okay guys, I'm about to buy a set of wheels in a day or two, so I'm hoping for a quick reply from the good people of the 2IS forum!

What tires would be best to run on 18x9.5 +30 wheels all around?? I'm on coilovers, haven't done any fender work at all. I'm hoping to run as little camber as possible.

Would 255/35/18 work, or is there a better size? And if there is, could you post pics?

Thanks in advance CL

I am running the same setup on my wife's IS250 and her car is on 2in road magnets. I did need to roll he fenders in the rear and trim the rear bumper tabs

Hi guys, I'm planning on buying 19" wheels for my 2008 IS250AWD, was thinking of getting 19x9.5 +30 front & 19x10.5 +22 rear. Does any one have this kind of setup? Do I need to roll fenders or get spacers, my car is lowerd 2" on Megan coilovers, I might lower it another inch & what kind of tire setup u guys recommend?

It is AWD. It rides very well for the amount of drop that it gives. I get a slight vibration if i am stopped while the car is in gear but if your radio is on you may not even notice it. During slow acceleration I get a noticeable vibration around 30 but it quickly goes away. Its not enough to make me take them off. The vibration during acceleration did get a little worse once i put the 20s on

Bump, still looking for suggestions. I don't want a crazy stretch, which is why I said 255/35/18, but what are other AWD owners running? I'm willing to roll fenders and modify liners, even relocate the tabs if I have to.

Hey guys,

I have a 2011 IS250 AWD and was hoping to pick up a set of 2014 IS350 Fsport wheels.

Dimensions:

Available Size: Front 18 x 8.0 and Rear 18 x 8.5
Bolt Pattern: 5-114.3
Offset: 45 mm / 50 mm
Weight: 28.00 / 28.20 lbs

All-Season: 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 - Bridgestone Turanza EL 400 2

I plan to lower my car by 1-1.5 inches and will probably need a 25mm spacer (i think?) for a more flush appearance. Is this setup OK with the AWD system?

Thanks!

Let's try this again

Xxr 527
18x 8.75 20mm front or 35mm
18x 8.75 20mm rear or 35mm

Or same front size backs 18x9.75 20mm

Looking for a flush setup. Megan coil overs stock is250 brakes
Car is 2010 is250 awd and rolling diameter had to be close to same

Also tire thickness will be 35/40 as the roads in Chicago are extremely bad.

From what I have gathered reading through this and the original thread and using the tire calc... your diameter/circumference needs to be extremely close for the AWD staggered setup...
225/40/18 and 255/35/18 have a few mm difference. those will be fine for the AWD system. I run the G-Spider 18s with 245/40/18 all around without rubbing so this setup shouldnt rub at stock height.

I wanna run 19x9.5 +22 all around what tires should I go with and will I have any rubbing issue. Other then that if I go staggered 19x9.5+22 front and 19x11+22 rear the tire size will help, I'll be lower on road magnet springs. Thanks!
