Default GFX lip installed finally!

Here it is finally painted (I had the black on white lip before and took it off bc I did not like it).

Driving my lip home after it got sanded and painted

My car before

For people you are having problems removing that clip, just yank real hard on it with a flat head. Also, when putting it back on, use the pointed end of a screwdriver to push it in hard (worked for me).

Remove the lip starting from the side after you have unscrewed everything.

GFX installed! I read through some of the DIY on the forum and you really should look under the car to put the lip in all the way to remove the gaps. You will notice a click sound. My trick was to look under the car (did not use ramps) and pull in the lip while pushing the clip holder out.

Saw a ISF at southlake and snapped a picture. My car looks like a baby next to it...

DDM 5000k HID

Greddy SE

And random side note, my cutoffs for HID is real messed up. Could someone help me? I have tried adjusting it but it is not helping. Anyone know what the problem is? I Have adjusted the headlight so that they are aligned together but i seem to have "empty spots"... here is a picture of the cutoff

Sorry for the bad picture quality...All taken with Iphone 3gs

your headlights are quite weird. that doesn't look like the even line that projector bulbs make. maybe someone can help you out with that.

did you have to drill anything in order to install the lip?

nope I didnt have to drill to install the lip. I used original screws without any 3m tape. I think the lip will hold on fine without the 3m tape or drilling!

Snubbles, the thing you see on my windshield is the reflection from the garage light! lol

The GFX looks nice, use to have one, also. It's subtle but still makes the front a little more aggressive. And on the headlamps, to me it looks like the bulbs aren't seated right that's why it's out of focus.

I think you also need the rear lip to complement the front. It would make the rear more aggressive and complete the overall look. The side is unnoticeable.

Initial K, yeah..I know my rear is pretty plain.. I am saving up right now for the spoiler and maybe the GFX rear but I am not sure at this point.

PhoNoodles! I think you are right. I went back and found out that the bulbs were not in all the way and put them in right this time except that I scratched the bulbs and broke the return wire insulator... time for new bulbs I guess because I expect these bulbs to die soon lol
