Default powder coat vs paint

i want to no the diference between the two i am gettin an awsome deal on gettin em painted. like how long will it hold up will it crack or and thing just the pros and cones of both sorry if this has been posted already

Painting will not last as long as Powdercoating. Powdercoating is also easier to clean!

In my opinion, Powdercoating looks much more professional.

powercoat will last and look much better..
unfortunately most wheels are painted and there is nothing wrong with that except it get nicked by debris easily.

I did have powder coated wheels from centerline on my last car..
always have luster and beautiful

Painting costs less. Powdercoating lasts longer. I painted mine myself and it has been holding up pretty well for 2 years. So I am guessing that getting it done professionally will be even better.

As stated above, but it matters what your powdercoating also. If its stock cast wheels it will make them brittle and more prone to crack. Its ok to powdercoat forged wheels b/c they can handle the heating process.

hmm it's only baked at 400F for about 20 minutes.. aluminum alloy even cast should be very stable at those temperatures.
