You can still run 235/275 - just can't go real low. LEXHES (CL member) can chime in with performance/rubbn'...he currently has that tire setup on his 818.
On my end, I'm running Falken FK452 19" 225/35 and 265/30. I have zero finger gap (f/r fenders), and have slight rubbing. I only rub when I hit a speed bump at high speed, or take an aggressive turn. And the rubn is mostly on the front tires...but not enough to worry about.

So I saw in this thread that there is an IS250 lowered on H&R spring running 235/35/19 and 275/30/19.
Linea Corse LC808
19x8.5 / 19x10 +38 / +43 235.35.19 Front / 275.30.19 rear
My question is, I'm planning on getting LC818 with 19x8.5 and 19x10, but the offsets are different: +30 for the 8.5 and +38 for the 10.
Would using the same size tires for the LC818 on H&R springs be okay?
Would there be any rubbing issues (aside from the plastic fender lining)?

275.30.19 or 265.30.19
I'd suggest the 235.35.19 front and 275.30.19 rear
If you have a load you MAY rub without a fender roll
If you have a load often and dont want to rub, run a 265.30.19 rear

Thinking of getting LC818 19"
Hey read throughout the entire thread, awesome pics . I am thinning of getting smoked chrome LC818s. I have a IS 350 AWD graphite Mica and was thinking that the smoked chrome would look sic! Thoughts?
Also, I want to lower the ride height with f sport springs. Based on everyones experience, if I run 235s in the front off of 19x8.5" rims, will I rub? I am going to run non-staggered so want to get as wid in the front as possible...
Again awesome thread and awesome cars!

I'm still a little unsure about these. They're a little too big for my style. Plus, I'm rubbing in the fronts at 80 - 100% wheel turn. This is even after the heat gun mod. And the rear is real close.
I am AWD and dropped on Road Magnets and the drop is really uneven. I'm looking into BCR Coils to level everything out and get rid of the nagging high speed vibrations of my "lowered AWD."
I still need to put on the GFX skirts and rear. Should have just gotten the RWD

Looks pretty sweet to me! I would kill for that look! What tires are you running, staggered? How much drop do the road magnets give you? Seems like a lot of forum members are going with BCR... I was advised not to go for coil overs as the IS is my DD and due to the fact that winters will kill them (salt!)
RM supposedly give a 2" drop but my corners are all over the place. On the stockers, I am 25" from ground to top of the wheel well on one side. On the other side, I am 24 1/4" in the front and 25 1/2" in the rear.
Didn't think about the salt issue. The winters get pretty bad in Pittsburgh.
