Roof Vinyl-ing POLL

Hey Guys i have a dilemma,

have a starfire pearl car

Vinyl roof gloss black
vinyl roof matte black
vinyl roof satin black
do nothing....

on top of that anyone knows where to get bulk vinyls for the roof that is removable? i've checked aerotect and rvinyl... rvinyl is not long enough... 24"x 60" is the one i can use so far... aerotect is about 48"x48" but it's at $75... anyway i can get it cheaper?

I've seen black roofs with vinyl and painted gloss black.. imo the paint looks way better but its alot more expensive . just my 0.02 =)

I had mine wrapped in glossy vinyl. It's been like 4 months and now it looks like matte black.

I'm going to take it off and have it painted soon, it bothers me that much.

im thinking about gloss black for my roof, but from what i hear, the black scratches really easily? this true guys?

All vinyl scratch easy. It's just a matter of what type of vinyl is more visible. CF not so much, solid colors, especially matte yes.

I was thinking CF 3M Di-NOC but they are flat/matte finish. Wish it was glossy. If it was I guess it'll be hard to take the wrinkle off.

^That's what a heat gun is used for, to take out wrinkles =)

You can spray the vinyl with clear coat or just put a clear bra film over to give it a more gloss look.

Yup, vinyl scratches very easily. Mine looks like it has swirl marks all over it, and I baby the hell out of my car.

i had mine wrapped at a shop near me. 200 bucks he wrapped the roof, B pillars (i had ugly chrome stick-ons that i took off but scratched the pillar a bit so i had him wrap it) and he wrapped the chrome window trim.
