Default '06 VDIM Disable

I know about the pedal dance and I dont ind doing it but has anybody discovered another way like pulling out a fuse or something like this...will be hitting the track and dont wanna be having to do the pedal dance every run...also just had the curiosity...thankz in advance

IIRC you can swap in the trac ECU from an 07+ and gain the turn-off-with-button feature the 07+ models have... there was a thread about it a while back... but the ECU was some stupid expensive amount of money.

VDIM cannot be disabled in any IS. You can, however, disable TRC and VSC. I assume you have an '06. If you do the pedal dance enough, and practice at it, it can be done in seconds.

Jet is right, if you just do it a couple of times it comes very quick. In fact I can pull up to a redlight, do the pedal dance, get the navi back to normal (press agree) before the light turns green.

I have thought about switching the trac ECU form an 07, but they are VERY expensive.

Faster feet are cheaper.

thankz for the quick replys guys and yup gonna have to just get quicker with my feets also are guys able to do the pedal dance with the car running or i got that wrong lol....

^ Pretty sure you have to turn the car off and back on. Part of the sequence is starting the pedal dance with the parking brake engaged while you start the car. Would be awesome if there was a way to do it without turning the car off though...

yeah wat confused me was 350police post but he was just explaining how fast he can do the procedure...oh well gotta practice doing it I only have done it like 5 times so im not too good at it i like driving with mine on is safe and saves money on tires lol
