i have the same problem! you talking about the VSC light? cause that and all the other lights have gone off twice for me this past couple months. First time i was just driving and it turned on. I restarted my car and it dissapeared. Next time happened recently like 3 weeks ago, i left my car to get the brakes replaced and the lights were on when i got my car again. i showed the mechanic but he said it was on when he got it...He plugged in a scanner and it said something like "cylinder 5 is misfiring" he reset the system and i havent seen it since. I really hope this doesnt expand into a problem that costs alot of money. But if it makes you feel better im experiencing the same problem haha. And i would also like an answer! btw what year is your car? mines an 06

If you have a 250 its mostly carbon build up, take it to the dealer they'll decarb it for you, if they don't know what they're doing they're probably going to offer you new valve springs and whatnot.

i had that issue for the longest time. eventually it ended up with my traction control completely disabled. the dealer found it to be a dead o2 sensor. replaced it and reset the ecu.

they also found the dash to be loose and redid it and they pinched a wire which also caused lights going on and off. they replaced the wire and fixed that too. figured this might help one way or another
