Default Can anyone help me to find the TSIB for engine grinding noise

I have an IS250 AWD recently the engine making grinding noise when cold start. I want to bring it in and have the TSIB to support in case the dealer trying to fool me. But I couldn't find it in the lexus recall and tsib website. If anyone have a copy can you please post a download link or send it to my email. My email jskyline@msn.com Thanks a bunch

TSIB EG019-07

you shouldn't need to bring it up if you have (at the very least) a competent service advisor. just describe to him/her the problem and (assuming the service dept. can duplicate the issue) he/she should be able to take care of it.

Thanks for the TSIB number and I just want to have it just in case. And actually that number is for IS350. The one for IS250 is EG017-07 but just could find the attachment on the website.

my service advisor required the noise to be recorded cause they couldnt ever get it to to act up at the dealeship.

might be beneficial to you.

When I went to the dealer for that issue in my car, I brought my laptop with me described the problem and immediately showed the advisor a video from youtube and explained that I was a member of clublexus and myis (where we spread the word about any issues or trends about our cars) so that he had no doubt that I knew what im talking about and what I was expecting to be done, even if he wanted to, he didn't even hesitate to aknoledge the issue. My car was fixed within a week.

My doesn't happen every time too. But mostly every morning. It just stupid to have someone standing out side to record when I crank it.

My dealer told me they'd keep the car overnight, with the loaner, so they could start it up cold in the morning. I don't get the crank noise enough to bother.

I get the crank noise rarely... Not in mornings but say after i turn it on after shutting it off for 30 minutes. I took it to the dealer once and they told me they could not replicate the problem and did nothing.. I was 1500 miles for my warranty to expire so maybe they just did not want to spend the cash to fix it??? My warranty is over and im stuck with it now... Unless its considered a power train problem?? IS IT?? you guys think i can still get this fixed??

I'm 2k miles til my basic warranty is up. But I'm pretty sure this will cover under the powertrain warranty til 6 year 72k miles.
