if your fenders are rolled and fender tabs are shaved, then no.

or

the +37 offset would likely work without fender mods.

but if your uncomfortable with fender mods, go with more conservative wheel specs.

They're 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 + 22

I think they also make them in +30 but +22 would be a kick *** dish. I'm sure Id have to stretch tires but no idea what size to go with. I'm going to be lowered on Megan Racing EZ streets. Don't really want to have to roll the fenders but I will a little bit.

Anyone ever use the varrstoen wheels??
varrstoen is right down the street from where i work, and iirc HKS350 has a set of varrstoens (TE replicas). they're fine AFAIK.

your posted specs will fit (heck, anything can fit with $$$$), but you'll need fender work all around (roll + shaved fender tabs).

i think a few that are running those spec wheels are running 235/35-19 and 255/35-19.

My last setup was 19" 8.5/9.5 +22 on 225/35;255/35. For this setup I rolled the fronts, & for the rear, I rolled, pulled and shaved the rear. I want to move up to a 19"9.5/10.5 with the same tires. Will I rub?

225/35-19 will be an eager (but manageable) stretch on a 9.5".

255/35-19 on a 10.5 is fine.

(waits for Mv350 to come in and say "if you ain't rubbin', you ain't doin' it right.")

my first set that im putting on the g35 will be varrstoen with neg offsets. run the +22 and 225/35 265/30. mods fenders accordingly(roll, maybe slight pull in the rear)

or

+37 will require less fender/bumper tab moddification

true 225/35 is not for the weak hearted when you first see it mounted. but ittl work out just fine.

p.s.

Question about some rims for sale.. what does this mean?
"20x9 +32 offset and 20x11 +60 offset"

I don't understand the +60 offset.. ? Looks great in the picture, but a little confused..

Sorry if thats a nub question

Thanks

what you're referring to are the diameter (18) and width of the wheels (8, 9).

it's nothing "fancy".

"offset" refers to the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the inside mounting face. the lower the offset, the closer the inside mounting face is to the centerline, which pushes the wheel out farther away from the car. the higher the offset, the farther the inside mounting face is from the centerline, pushing the wheel in farther towards the car.

the diameter and width will typically determines tire size. offsets will also play a factor in determining tire size, as well as whether you will need fender work or not.

225/40 all around, roll all 4 and you could tuck on that.

Will a 19x9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the rear with a +30 offset work with no rubbing on an 06 IS? I already have my fenders shaved to.

you should be good with that, run a 265/30 in the back and either 225/35 or 235/35 up front

i would ask the sc section, but since they are close enough to gs offsets i can try, you will need a slight roll, but if you did a full roll and shave you can fit whatever tire you wanted.

So it should sit flush with the fender with this setup? not passed the fender?

Hey Guys, have a chance to get a good deal on some Volks in 18's. Will I have any issues clearing the Front brakes? I know the wheels aren't staggered but a good deal is hard to pass up. Any suggestions appreciated
