any fender modding needed? will it look odd? i'm now lowered on f sport and probably get tein coilover later in the future.

18x8.5 F +45
18x9.5 R +50

2007 IS350

225/40 front, 255/40 rear.

Will it fit? I used the 1010 calculator and it says 6mm closer in the front (inboard) and 13mm inboard on the rear.

Ok so I've found a killer deal on a set of wheels I like for my IS350 but I have to decide which offsets to go with. They are 19x9 and 19x10 available in +25,+35, and +45 offsets. My car is lowered on tein s-techs. Which offsets would be a good compromise between form and function? I don't want to have to cut or roll my fenders if at all possible.

+35 is ideal with a proper tire for function and form. +25, youll have to stretch and may have to do some fender work depending on tire. +45 is a high.

you will be good. +42 is nothing to worry about. i would go to a smaller front tire tho. something like 225/35 or 235/35

I searched the thread and could not find anyone who has asked about the 19" OEM RX8 wheel.

Would those fit an IS350? I have seen the Genesis Track wheels and thought they looked sharp, but I like the RX8's a little more aesthetically.

Looking at these in particular: http://images.thecarconnection.com/l...00189757_l.jpg

Of course I would change the center cap.

Thoughts...

sup guys, I see most people talking about +31 is the craziest u could go out back on the 2IS with out fender mods..

however this is what I got in mind..

18/8.5 +30
18/10 +25

Tires are
235/40/18
255/40/18

Will I have rubbing issues. if yes where ? front ? back ? I plan on lowering on Coils, prob megan...

Will I have to roll fenders for the +25 in the rear? thanks

is there any way i can fit a 19x8.5 +22 with a 235/35/19 tire without rubbing like crazy?

Im on bcr coils so i can adjust ride height but i dont wanna look like 4x4 and i really dont want the tires to stick out like crazy.

can i roll the front fenders at all? will that give me any clearance? are there any 235/35/19 tires that run a little on the small side compared to the general UHPs?

what if i mill 3mm off the wheels?

i run a 19x8.5+22 on a 225/35/19 i wish i had gone with a 215/35/19.

you wont rub when you are going straight, but its gonna be a different story when you turn and when you hit pot holes. I would try to go with a 215.

if you're looking to run the combination of 235/35-19 and 19 x 8.5 +22 in the front, you're going to rub.

you can roll the fenders, but you will rub at the tab where the fender meets the bumper.

milling the inside mounting face to effectively increase offset (by pushing the inside mounting face farther away from the centerline of the wheel) weakens its structural integrity, and if you have closed-end lugnuts you might end up having too many threads on the studs to mount before the lugnuts can secure the wheel.
