I'm currently on style 95 wheels but not satisfied with the stance on my IS350. If I could, I would have went back to my stocks but I don't have them anymore. So with a budget of roughly $6-700, I've been looking at konigs and enkei wheels since they're pretty reputable as far as I have read, correct me if I'm wrong.

More specifically i came across the Konig SSM, work s1 reps. They come in wide and low offsets, and don't look that bad. I've been trying to find if anyone has had them mounted, or a review of how they've held up.

As of right now, I'm interested in running a staggered set 18x9+22 18x10+15 215/40 or 225/40 up front and 235/40 or 245 in the rear.

Whats your take on this specific pair of "reps" since they're Konigs and not something along the lines of JNC, XXR, Rota etc.

Looking to replace my OEM wheels and tires for my 350 and need some recos. I'm running coilovers with natural camber (-1.7 degrees), lowered 24.75” (front) and 25.75” (rear) ground to fender lip. I do not want to modify fenders or liners, etc.

I'm pretty set on 19x8.5 and 19x10 with around 35 and 40 offset respectively. I don't want any tire stretch so that I can maintain a little bit of protection for the wheels.

What tires sizes would you recommend? From what I've read, 225/35/19 and 265/35/19 appear to be popular, but it's unclear if these will create any clearance issues. Thanks.

I can tell you from experience that the front will definitely have tire stretch. The rear will have a bit but not as severe. As far as clearance goes you'd probably be alright with those sizes but Id wait for a more knowledgable person on the subject to come around.

Default Need help with tire and wheels

So I'm looking to buy a set of XXR 555 wheels. This is for my 2011 IS 250 all black. The sizes for the wheels are 18x8.5 5-100/5-114.3 [+25mm] for the front and 18x10 5-100/5-114.3 [+25mm] for the rear. Question is: Will they fit my stock tires that I have on my car now? Please let me know, thank you.

1. Our bolt pattern for our wheels are 5x114.3 (5-114.3)
2. What are your stock tires do you have on your wheels now? When I had my wheels they were 245/40 which fit my 18x8.5 fine, but in the case of 18x10, I think they will have slight stretch.
3. The offsets fitting under your fender is up to whether or not you are lowered or riding at stock height.

I have Bridgestone 225/40R18 tires for the front and 255/40R18 for the rear as my stock tires. My car is still at stock height so I think the +25mm offset should be good enough?

Not trying to hijack, but thought this would be a proper place to start. I have a set of 20x9 all around with +35 offset. Need to buy tires. Car is a '14 ES350. Seeking advice on tire size. The car will be lowered 1.3F and 1.4R. I'm currently set on getting all four 245/35/20 Conti, Extreme Contact.
Curious who else has 20s on their 6ES and the tire sizes they are running.
thank you in advance for any input.

Im trying to figured out if I can run 18x10.5 +25 or 18x10 +25 all around on my 2011 AWD is250. Has anyone done this yet? If so, do you have any rubbing issue either on the fender or on the strut/any suspension parts?

You'll definitely have to roll the fenders in the front with either of those sizes.

ah ok. I will be fine with that. I also have the JDM quick release fasteners for more clearance. What about he inside lip hitting any of the suspension parts or control arms? (btw Im on bags.)

Youve got a negative offset so it should be alright. Most likely if you do have a rubbing issue it will be on the fenders when youre turning. Be careful with your tire size because that will become the biggest culprit in any rubbing

Good day guys! My first post!
I have a 18x8.0 + 35 offset wheels for both front a back. Will they fit my Lexus IS 250 AWD 2012?
If yes, what tyres should i use? 4x 225/40r18?
Thank you!

Default A lot of useful and useless info here...

I read and read ....and read this thread for info on wheel, tires, off set....blah blah, so I'd be sure not to get something that was going to smoke my AWD system or be all over the fenderliners.
People were asking the same question I needed an answer to but nobody ever would answer it.
About an hour ago, I finished installing a set of staggered wheels on our IS AWD. They seem completely normal compared to the 225/45/17s I took off.
8.5" front 35mm offset 235/35/19
9.5" rear 35mm offset 275/30/19
They don't touch anything. I wanted to get these wheels on before I replaced any springs. Right now, on the rear, it's 4 fingers between the top of the tire and the edge of the quarter panel.
This thread had me worried about going 235 275 instead of 225 265....I'm a wider tire kinda guy and wanted to go with the wider tire...I rolled those dice and it's fine.
There needs to be a matrix created that takes into account ride height, AWD/RWD, wheel size, tire size and offset so it's not completely confusing trying to figure this out because people will be changing out IS wheels for many years to come.
We've had this IS AWD about 2 weeks and my wife loves it.
Me at 6-2....it's a cramped little car. Can't believe how popular this car was
