Correct 8.5 in front (if I decide to go with different widths). You're running 8.5 in front or 8.5 all around? What tire size are you running? Also, where did you manage to find a 42 offset?

8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Enkei rpf1. 225/35zr19 front and 255/35zr19 or 255/30zr19 in the rear

Hi guys,
I am looking for some help on tire sizes for my wheels. First off i have velgen vmb5 20 inch wheels 20x9 +35 and 20x10.5 +45. I noticed everyone is stretching a 235/30/20 on the front and 255/30/20 on the rear when dropped down with zero clearance between the fender and the wheel. I am not looking to go that low and would like a little more rim lip protection from the tire especially since i have this much in the set of wheels and the streets arent exactly perfect. I have a set of 255/30/20 and 285/30/20 and was wondering if i could use these tires without any rubbing. I am ok with modifying my fenders if i need to. I would also like to lower my car at some point but i dont want it slammed. One more question i have is how low can i go with out getting longer adjustable camber arms for the rear? Thanks

My lil sister has a 07 is250 with the 18s
she wants 17" for a little more comfort and cheaper tires

found a set of 2gs 17" (rare 7spoke from gs430)
i believe they are 17x8

will these fit???

Almost all 17" rims will fit. 17" is the OEM size. But it depends on which tires you get.

Geberally, anywhere close to 255/35/17 will fit the front and 275/35/17 will fit the back. Also around +35 offset. Unless you go something extreme or super slammed and max camber when lowered. You won't have any problems.

ooooh. This is a close call. Personally, I don't think it will clear. I have 245/35/19" +35 on front and 265/35/19" +35 on rear and I have my fenders rolled. I am also lowered in coils but not aggressively. Your setup adds almost +1.5inches more than mine. If you're not lowered and running OEM height, you might clear but it's a close call.

Is anyone running 17in RPF1 wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires? I am a tad lost in trying to find a decent setup. Trying to go for the lightest possible setup so if there is one let me know. Thanks.

I was told from the shop that I bring my car to that it would not clear the brakes. I was looking at wheels from that company too.

Would this fit a 2007 IS350:

225/45R17 94(Y) Pilot Super Sport / Enkei RPF1 17x8 (Front)
245/45R17 99(Y) Pilot Super Sport / Enkei RPF1 17x9 (Rear)

Also if anyone knows, do I have to get the TPMS sensors or will the stock ones fit with no problems? Thanks!

is it safe to use wheels that the offset is off by 1 or more? For example the rims i'm looking at are 46 mm offset wheels.

Thanks,

Jay
