Well I stand corrected. I didn't know there were adapters like that... learn something new every day!

Default Another "will this fit" wheel question

mainly a question for the wide wheel guys.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=328311

will it fit?
offsets seem conservative enough

alittle worried about the 10.5 rear wheel. i know most aggressive setups for the 2is is a 9.5 width wheel with a 27 offset that's with fender rolling

if i add another inch to the rear wheel i'm adding 25mm to it and

41-25= 16 which is waay below 27... maybe i'm crazy or just thinking about it too much

any help

haha, those are not even close to being aggressive.

yes they will fit.

if you plan on lowering your car, you might need to roll the rear fenders. also you might have to run a smaller tire. you wouldnt want to stretch the tire too much cause with 20's you have to run a 30 series profile.

Default How aggressive offset can a IS take?

recently i came across a set of PIAA Super Rozza from a friend, that was on his G35, but i was wondering can the IS take a offset of 25 all around?

depending on the width of the wheel. they can go into the low 20's even teens. but be careful cause some wheels might not clear bbk.

Those would not even come close to working. With those you need 35 front and 38 rear and that is the most you should run, unless you are going to run pathetically puny tires.

+27 Front and +29 Rear are about the maximum the IS can handle in the widths you described. Even then, you will have to stretch some pretty small tires on there to make them work.

I measured and measured and used lazer alignment tools to decide the offsets on my IS, taking into account I wanted real world tires that could handle potholes and speedbumps, etc. The maximum offset I could get was +30 front and +35 rear. Of course I also didnt want to roll fenders. I could have gone +30 rear with a fender roll, and a skinnier tire.

Good luck.

offset is how far in mm the spokes or mounting point is from the center of the wheel. so a 0 offset would be half polished lip, your wheel design, then the non polished side.

i don't know terminology of wheels all that well so its a shat description but might help

depends on how aggersive you wanna look.

Im at a 8.5 front and 9.5 rear with a +22 all around. im PERFECTLY FLUSH. BUT you must run a rear tire of 235 or 245/30/19...nothing higher AND roll your rear fenders...

ive seen a 10.5 on a +22 (common g35//350z) you get a slight sticking out...kinda how 240s are.
