Default GFX lip does not fit perfectly...is that true?

Hey guys, i just recently got my gfx lip put on by tommy from music box. real nice dude but after he put it on i noticed that there was a lil gap on the left side...where the the lip turns. tommy said that ALL GFX LIPS are messed up on the left side therefore making it not flush with the bumper( there is a lil space between the lip and the bumper where the lip turns and comes to an end making it not as good as i thought it would be)...is that true that all of them are like that so no one has a gfx lip that is put on with no spaces or gaps between the lip and the bumper? i highly doubt that so i just wanted to know the truth...when i asked him about it he was surprised i did not know...he even told me to talk to u guys about it lmfao....y would lexus make the gfx lip not fit perfectly with the bumper they provide..makes no cot damn sense...I HATE HOW ITS NOT FLUSH ESPECIALLY WEN I PAID SOMEONE TO PUT IT ON FOR ME! some insights plz...need help

yeah, search for the gfx threads. I did mine too and I had a lot of gap initially. the trick is when pushing back the clips, you want to start from the 2 sides first, then work your way toward the center. Also, make sure that you hear the clicking sound, or it may not have clipped totally.

btw, I did mine with the tape only and without drilling holes, like most of people in the cl.

You should have installed it yourself.

According to the manual, some gap is within range of factory spec.

If you got sum pics and need other opinion, please post and share.

it should fit perfectly!! Reach one hand to hold the back of the bumper and one hand on the lip kit and push it hard together!! You should hear a snap noise and the kit with fit perfectly!!
