Does anybody got an idea of the size of the screws? I didn't get any with mine. If not, I'll just order them from the dealer.

^^^^It looks like this:

But not really sure. The diagram under the drawing of the screw explodes, but it really is hard to tell. Your kit should have included the screws.

Mine didn't, ordered it from a dealer on eBay. I'm assuming Sewell only included them years ago because the 250/350 crowd was buying the dampeners at the time, while everyone else today is most likely assuming IS-F owners are buying it and should have the screws already.

Yeah, I got that. Went to the dealer and ordered them. Would of been nice to just pick up something from Home Depot if I knew the size

Just need to find a 12 steering ECU soon.

I went for a drive today. I noticed the
difference already. It feels weightier, tighter and less floaty. I also noticed less road vibration. Very impressed already with just the damper upgrade!

If you want to add even more weight to your steering wheel I suggest getting some tennis lead tape. I added 2 full rolls on my damper and it feels almost similar to the BMW's steering wheel on the 335i.

SSLPARTS says this part doesn't fit the 2011 IS350's. Can anyone confirm this?

It should fit I think it's made for all 06-13 models 250/350.
Just remember to get the 2 screws.

You have a IS350 AWD, steering damper is already installed from factory.

All other models do not come with the damper, however it can be added without issue.

So I was looking at this thread and thinking that the overwhelming majority of people that installed the steering damper saw a subtle, but noticeable improvement in steering feel after installation. So I thought, what the heck? A $30 part is nothing and the install looks so easy. I was later told by a seller that the 2012 IS250C comes from the factor with the damper already installed and he referenced the above quote. Never to question Jeff Lange's expertise on these cars and especially his knowledge of the parts, but when I look up the diagrams for my 2012 IS250C, I do not see the damper as any part. Further, when I look up the part number on discountmonsterparts, it states it will not fit. What gives?

They're website/listing isn't correct. Not sure why not.

This is the diagram from the IS250C parts catalog,
