Default questions about aerotect redout vinyl!!

hey guys i just order the vinyl to redout my tail lights from areotect is it perfect fitment? do i just stick the red vinyl over the orange?

do you have 06-08 or 09+ ?

i found the 09+ to be a bit harder to put on since there's 2 different pieces and nothing really to line them up. the 06-08 ones are rectangles and way easier to line up.

its slightly longer so u will have to cut it.. i just sealed it right over to the black part.. no one will see it so it dont bother me

For the '06-'08, they are designed to be just a bit bigger than the Amber Portion. Line it up on the trunk side and go.

pretty much spray the area with water+soap and then just stick it on and get the water out with a card, fitment is good and good luck

you definitely need the soapy water...pick you up a spray bottle from autozone or something and make a very diluted soap/water mixture. Maybe like a teaspoon of liquid soap and the rest water.

Otherwise, EVERYTHING will stick to the vinyl and it wont slide around for perfect positioning.

If you try to touch the vinyl without soapy water on your fingers it could even pick up your finger prints and be there permanently.

yea easy to squeeze out the extra liquid/water/soap/bubbles, just use a credit card

alright i just need to spray a lil water/soap right? not a whole lot as long as its moist? so i can arrange the vinyl around
