Default Lexus Personalized Settings on 2010 (User Customizable?)

Hey all,

I remember the day I picked up my car, @ the time of delivery I was told that the newer models no longer require the dealer to personalize the settings.

Anyway, that was last week and now I'm trying to dig up some info on where to do that... I can't seem to find it.. The manual doesn't mention anything about LPS. A search on Google only showed me how to do it on the HS.

I have the 2010 w/ navi. Is the guy wrong? I went to Setup --> Vehicle.

All I see is maintenance. This is while ignition is on. Also tried when it was jus running on batteries.

Was the guy wrong?

Thanks!!!

Maybe it's the new RX that has user customizable LPS? I think?

User LPS can be done on the HS and the RX I know for a fact. The IS lacks the menu and still needs a visit to the dealer to program your settings.

Page 44-45 of the 2010 owners manual has a few user customizable options. Also not mentioned anywhere, but if you want all doors to unlock at once when you touch the door handle, press the open and close button on the remote and hold it until the car gives you a confirmation. To undo, just do the steps over again.

Door locking functions, ie shifting in to Drive locks doors etc etc I think all model years have them.
