Default quick question, am i jumping to the wrong conclusion?

2 months ago i switch out my driver side foglight housing because it was cracked. However, yesterday i turned on my foglight and the driverside foglight was not lighting up. This problem has nothing to do with the new foglight housing right, because the housing has nothing mechanical in it right? its has to do with either the bulb or the wiring right?

nothing to do with the housing... it has to be in the bulb or the wiring

yes that is correct... imo just put in new bulbs BUT always wear laytex gloves when handling the new bulbs, you do not want to accidentally touch them with exposed skin.

if you have oily hands like me, the oil front your skin will stick on the bulb, and when the bulb lights up and gets hot, the oil from your skin amplifies it like that and gets even hotter and blows it.... something like that i think
