Default Ings+1 Replica (VIS Racing) - Hows fitment & install?

Hey Guys, wondering how fitment is with this replica kit. How did install go (by you or your body shop)?

Also, approx how much did it cost you if you had your body shop do it? And how many days did they need the car?

Thanks!

honestly ppl always so scared about fitment issues with replicas

the fitment is usualy THE SAME unless your buying some shi.t off ebay

its the same thing with out the "INGS badge" or whatever

so fitment should be good and nothing any local body shop cant fix if there are any imperfections

and for the shop it depends where you bring it and how busy they are... my buddys own a shop so i get it done within 24 hours and its ready for pick up usualy the next day once the paint is dryed over night

and as for price i pay 250 cdn for the whole kit to be fitted/fix any flaws/paint/installed

Only experience I have is with VIS hoods for my MKIV, and they're horrendous, both in fit and finish.

No you can't say that ^ ...
Only in certain cases yes
There are plenty of cases were the quality and fitment is identicle it jus depends
On the type of replica you are buying , most of the time you are paying double
The price tag for the name stamped on the product

There are good replicas and there are **** replicas

I had fabulous rear from next mod the fitment was exccelent
There was no way you could tell its a rep once installed and I bet you can't either
For all the ings kits out there too like. Loves whip

^ I dunno bro... all I'm saying (and this is 100% why I started this thread) is I purchased an eBay replica roof visor for like $50 bucks, thought I had the deal of a life time, only to find that it was made of cheap, super soft plastic.

So cheap and soft that in the summer heat, it would somewhat 'melt' and deform. Hence, I bought the JunTW and counted it as a loss...

Sometimes these 'eBay replica's, or 'copy's are going to wind up being a loss in the end.

My experience proves it.

I think so my friend - kinda get what you pay for. My price and description in the classifieds when I posted it was completely upfront... but how's it working out for you?

I'm super ****, more then most - but, you may love it.

PS- IMO, I'm still undecided on the VIS... I just know I lost money before on 'replicas', and don't want to get burned again.

i actually hear that VIS racing has absolutely EXCELLENT REPLICA FITMENTS. same goes for the honda preludes MUGEN replica body kit and many other car makes. also reading up on these forums the INGs Rep kit fits Wonderfully with little to no adjustments compared to the real one. This info was provided by members who've bought the replica, so I've read. You won't be disappointed IMO. ** if you find a very good body shop to install it I'm sure it won't be a hassle and can be installed and put on like a glove perfectly
