Navigation Froze Up HELP!!!

Here's some good news. For two years the navigation system froze on my Lexus 470 (2004). Recently, without warning, it unfroze. Out of the clear blue, it started working again. Didn't do anything to it and had written it off as dead. Good thing I didn't pay the $2400 to replace it.
