Default How fast have you driven your IS

For real... no kidding whats the fastest you drove an IS? I was horsing around today and was playing tag with a TL... I shut down @110 as I'm a chicken! No tickets in 10 yrs and I wanna keep it that way!
It drove like silk! Then I started to wonder??? how fast can it go without shaking apart or blowing something apart?
Anyone?

While in my younger years I would take my car up to speeds like that, in the IS I've only taken it to about 110 or so. Anything higher and I can't take my eyes off the rear view mirrors just waiting to see the red and blue flashing lights. Can't deal with that kind of stress anymore. Its not worth it.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to records, and I don't want to blemish my perfect driving record with something as stupid and life endangering as driving recklessly .

No tickets FTW () !

As an 18 year old, I alone pay a high enough insurance premium...even though with ALL the discounts available to me .

So I topped out at like 90 ~ 95 MPH, and that was because I wasn't paying attention to my speed . Gotta watch out...

well my is350 doesnt let me pass 135 wich is wierd. but on a downhill on the LI Exp i can get her to go 150 and keep up to some modified Z350 g35's and maximas all hooked up. but as long as there faster and they hazard me the cops with there v1's then i should be ok. the roads in ny are soo predictible.

i just think its not safe to drive it faster than 120. it starts to fish tail and u can easily loose control. especially if you drive with ASC off and trax off.
but the exit drifting is always worth it
