Hey guys,
I just purchased a new unit and had a couple questions:
1 - How can I tell if I have the lastest bios and firmware updates? Is there a control panel that I can use to confirm the version? What should it be assumsing that I have a current revision?
2 - Where can I get the latest version of iGo8? I am sure this has been covered but I cant seem to find any current links on where I can download the software will the current maps (3d/HD) with building and all the mods to run it.
3 - How can I tell if I have the current harness that resolves the airbag issue?
Are there any pics or description of the old vs new harness?
If any of you can help it would be greatly appreciated. I havent installed it yet but I am already excited to get it up and running.
Are there any other mods you guys recommend?

igo 8 is pretty good but its a bit laggy, so I don't recommend having all kinds of fancy 3d building. pm me if you want details on igo8.

If you see f° instead of c° then you are probably running the latest firmware.
igo 8 is pretty good but its a bit laggy, so I don't recommend having all kinds of fancy 3d building. pm me if you want details on igo8.

My stereo shop told me it's just like an OEM type radio. Speaker level only. Don't know if that helps.

I bought a new rear view camera as the one that was sent with the unit was an eye sore and it took away from the OEM feel of the unit.
Let me know what you guys think.
This is the camera I think it's the closest thing to the OEM one.
The license plate piece is actually already marked from the factory where the OEM cam goes.

is the quality of the video same as the one that came with the unit? Mine is the one that came with the unit. Can I still swap out without running the wire again?
