while i'm waiting for my IS-F tips to arrive i thought i'd plan what to do with the exhaust.
I'm thinking of just removing the OEM tip and then cutting the tailpipe short. like this:
i'm not too sure how much i should cut and if i should let the tailpipe come and touch the IS-F tip or leave a few mm or cm's gap?
looking at the picture below it seems after cutting it and putting the IS-F tip, the tailpipe will position into the bottom outlet of the exhaust tip. It also seems to end up a bit to the edge. so i'm wondering if i would need to center it and if so how can that be done?
the only problem with this way i can see is that the exhaust smoke will only come out from the bottom outlet of each side. I'm thinking if its possible to like have the tailpipe modified with and extra output above the tailpipe so it can direct smoke through the second outlet?

^^ Not possible...
What you see is what you get.. Unless you get new custom mufflers with dual exits..
The "exhaust" will flow just out of the bottom exit.
It will only be noticeable in the COLDER temperatures.
Also, I recommend at least 3/4" to 1" (inch) space between the hacked off tail pipe and the rear side of the exhaust collectors..
YOU do not want them to touch (vibrate) or bang around while driving..
Those original conversion pics (from Asia region) have circled the Globe a few times already.. LoL

Thanks for your reply Joe,
alright then i will just remove the chrome OEM tips and then cut the tailpipe so that it has about 1cm or so clearance from touching the ISF exhaust tip.
Theres also another issue which also exists on the ISF. if you look straight at the tips then due to the fact that there are lots of mechanical parts and car bits behind it, no light is on the other end and hence you cannot really see anything which is good.
But if you look at the ISF exhaust outlet in an angle towards the outer side of the body, because light can be seen through the other end, it seems a bit weird. Can we use some sort of metal sheet like the stuff that already exists in the exhaust area just to block light getting in from the sides?

sorry guys i have no offense, but i do not think an is-f rear bumper flows with regular IS at all. regular IS looks best with gfx rear lip plus some wide axx rims.
