Default Plastic Cover Removal, next to Foglight housing

Hey,

Does anyone know how to remove the black plastic cover (triangle shape) next to the foglight housing (without removing the bumper). I am thinking about making a custom LED DRL by drilling holes and place some LED into the plastic cover. Any suggestions?

Any feedback is appreciated.

thank you,
Howard

i actually removed mine just 2 days ago cuz im in the process of making something new for that area ( i dont wanna give what im making away yet cuz its a surprise!! ) but yeah all u do is undo the 2 screws on the edge of the bumper ( one underneath the bumper, right in front of the wheel, and one behind the inner liner at the top back corner of the bumper.

after u get the liner pulled back, the black piece just pops out...theres 4 little clips that hold it in.

good luck with the led drls!

what exactly are u wanting to do there with the leds?

i always like people that do custom DIY projects

that's pretty cool but it's hard for me to believe that 3rd pic is just the LEDs by them selves. at one place it says that at 1400 lumen and another only 700 lumen...

it's cool tho... is it even for sale yet?

i'm not feeling the Vais LEDs.....looks like they are trying way too hard to copy Audi.

but , i like ur guys idea of the leds near the fogs. are you guys gonna make it sorta like the JDM foglights?

dam ^ that is crazy hot! and i like the VAIS line, how weird i was just wondering of LED lighting for the front, and dong888 i removed all the clips and screws from the top half toward the front bumper (under the car wise). Use some slight force to remove the lining out of the fenders, dont worry they are flexible.

ya know, sadly the first car company to implement LED drl is ASTON MARTIN, so simply we-along with audi- can be considered mere followers
