Default Need to replace air filter and cabin filter, will these work?

I need to replace the above mention parts. Will these items be ok and is the pricing fair? This is for a 2008 IS250. Will doing these myself be pretty easy?

The cabin filter is a good price
the engine air filter is a so so average price.

They will both fit. Replacing them yourself is a snap.

Engine air filter: Just pop the metal tabs and replace.
Cabin air filter: Remove the stuff from your glove box, make sure your air circulation is set to a specific setting (DOUBLE CHECK ME ON THIS ONE), and just remove the little panel in the glove box.

Set the circulation to recirculate. If it is on fresh and you try to pry open the cover, you will break the actuator on an $850 part. More than one of us know this to be true. When you remove the cover at the back of the glove box you should see the filter. If you do not, you will see a closed round door (sort of like a rolltop desk). DON'T TRY TO OPEN IT! Just change the setting on the fresh/recirc button and the door will open automatically. Then change your filter.

Pep Boys 12.99 Purolator in cabin filter fits just fine. Not OEM charcoal one but fully functional much the same.

^^^^^Surprised you'd reopen a year old thread, when there is a seven page thread that was started in '08 and is still current.
