It shouldn't be too hard to install. I had the JDM folding mirrors when I used to have my Prelude and installing it wasn't too difficult. However, the USDM mirror housing assembly is angled differently than the JDM assemblies (RHD car). So I just took the motor and fit it in the USDM assembly to retain proper usage of the angle of my side mirrors. If using the JDM housing assembly, the left mirror maxed out when trying to go to the left where my usual vision is, because it's designed to be angled for me sitting in the right seat, and vice versa for the other side
What the DA guys do to take care of this issue is swap the USDM mirror onto the JDM mirror housing. Which on the IS is really easy to do.
I would love to do this. One question for those that do have this option, is it a button that you have to press to fold them or is it upon the ignition on/off?
Does anyone know if China, Mainland China (LHD) has the power folding mirror option? If so, I think I can get used mirror assembly (the whole thing) for like 300 US a set
