Question about matching headlight and fog light
Should I have 6000K 9006 HID Conversion kit for fog lights to go with 6000K D4S HID bulbs? it will become all white.......... or should I go with yellow for fog lights?and it is a smoky granite 09 IS 350.

you should really do your search
well, even if you get 6k for your fogs and headlight, the color will not perfectly match
the brand of those HID bulbs will vary the color slightly
and if I were you, I wouldn't put yellow fog light on SGM color
yellow fog only looks good on white or black car IMO

The projector lense does not affect the color, except perhaps right at the cutoff where the light refracts around the shield. It is likely that the bulbs are aged differently or come from different manufacturers/batches.

Hi,
If you are looking for best performance in foggy situations I would go with 3000k yellow HID as the yellow light will cut right through the fog. You will find that 6000k HID in fogs is more cosmetic vs functional. It is just a question of what you are looking to achieve.
