which engine oil and oil filter?
hi,
im planning to changing the engine oil and oil filter in outside shop since the dealer is charging very very expensive.
so i was wondering which engine oil and filter should i for my IS?
and how many bottle of oil and filter should i buy ?
im sorry, im new to this

As for what kind, that's up to you. I use Royal Purple 5w30. Others like Mobil1, etc. As for the filter, just use the oem toyota one.

Hi new to the forum and just had a few questions..
what do you guys think of using Mobil One 5w-30 Extended Performance on a 2006 IS350?
Also, apparently they dont make a Mobil One Oil Filter for the IS350; so I am getting a Purolator Oil Filter. What do you guys think?
Let me know if you have any other recommendations.
