Is it possible to upgrade stock IS350 speaker system to Mark Levinson?

yeah, are you just trying to do the speakers or dvd as well?

for the speakers you'll need the amp sub and center speaker.

to do the dvd swap youll need. the dvd changer and harness, custom harness for aux port. digital auido cable

this swap is pretty expensive the amp alone is pricey or the finding the dvd changer will pricey, post or pm me some specs.

I just bought IS350 Lux pkg/ Navi/ summer tires 3 days ago
The dealership didn't have IS with ML so I had buy it without ML.

If I change speakers only, will it sound like ML? I thought I had to change whole audio systems.

Sounds like it will be expensive. Is it worth it?
Did you actually done this before? if so how much did you spend?

first welcome bro, you cant just change the speakers, its a completely different amp. your current amp doesnt have inputs for the sub and senter speaker, also with ML you can watch DVDs if you have the changer.

i would say the amp is around $500 and probably $200 for the speakers plus DIY install.

i don't know if its worth it or not, you can search throught the forum this topic has been discussed millions of times, but when you're going 120 with the windows down who cares

i actually installed a complete Ml nav unit in my non nav IS so i have a little insight on the situation, i didn't change out my auidio system only the nav.
