For all you guys with aftermarket wheels and lugnuts (conical/acorn), how do you deal with your spare tire? The lugnut wrench in the toolkit won't fit conical lugnuts and its not safe to use conical lugnuts on the spare.

I'm thinking to just put these items in my trunk that way I can still use my spare:

1. breaker bar or 4-way to fit conical lugnuts.
2. keep an extra set (5) of OEM lugnuts for the spare.

You can use your acorn lug nut from the aftermarket wheels to mount the spare tire.

I run bigger diameter wheels than the spare so the spare don't work. I just check my psi and hope I dont run into anything that will blow my tires out lol.

But I also carry all my stock lugs with me just case worst comes to worst I need to hop the few miles to a gas station

well i have my stocks on my car in my garage so i'll get a tow truck to tow my car to my house and just put my stocks back on. i have my lugnuts hidden in the car.
