My gf always gets pissed when I'm worried about the car. When we go eat at a restaurant that has window seats, I would park in a spot that is far from other cars or right by the window seat so I can stare at the car during dinner.
Everytime somebody parks next to me, my heart skips a beat when they open their doors. lol I end up looking at the car more than looking at the food, or her!

I too am one of those paranoid freaks. I just can't help it, too funny.

(I just wish we can upload this thread into the brains of all the careless people in this world so they can understand how we feel, but then they probably already know they do this and laugh at us anyways.)

I sure am glad I'm not the only paranoid "Three Fiddy" owner that worries about their car when they are eating, shopping, etc. I always dread walking back to the car for some reason... Especially at grocery stores, WalMart, etc, anywhere with carts. I just hate it when people mess with another man's vehicle.

I have none on my car thus far, but door dings are always on my mind too. I always do a 360 inspection around my car if someone is parked next to me.

I park on the ends. Even if I try to pull into a spot between two parked cars, my judgment may get the better of me and I back out and keep on going. It's much better to have a free conscience than to worry when I'm takin' care of business. Also I have found that parallel parking on the street has worked for me so far. One year of ownership and not a door ding (or corner bumper scrape) to date. I still get a thrill walking up to my red masterpiece.
