Yet another wheel question.....I know, I know....
I know, I know, every other freakin thread is a wheel question and I hate to post another, but I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere or from anyone.
I have an ALL STOCK IS350. The tires are about shot on it, so I'm going to put a set of rims on it when I get new tires.
I'm wanting to put 19x8.5 up front and either 19x9.5 or 20x10 out back. What off set do I need to get with the wheels? What size tires should I use too, was thinking 235/35 and 275/30. My desire is to have a large/deep lip on the rears. I prefer not to have any rubbing issues if possible, but can always heat the wheel wells and adjust as necessary.
Only other plans for future mods is possibly a drop via Eibach springs to close up the fender gap some.
Soo...what is everyones thoughts and suggestions? Thanks everyone!

I think the reason why it's hard to get a "straight" answer is because it's one of those questions that is too general. There is no best, it all depends what is your goal and what fits your budget. If you search the wheel index threads you'll see that majority of ISX50 owners are running a 19x8.5 front with offsets ranging from +/- 20 to around +/- 45. <<<Depends if you're trying to get the wheel super flush or go the safe route with 0 rubbing issues. Tires on those wheels usually run either 215/35 to 245/35's. As for the rears, the same goes. Tires can run from 235's up to 285's. What it boils down to is that there's no "right" width/offset/tire size. It just depends what you want and the look you want.
On a side note, I run a 19x9 +40 front wrapped with 245/35's and a 19x10 +40 wrapped with 275/30's.

Ok, so.....
If I got 19x8.5 with a +35 offset running 235/35 and 20x10 with a +35 running 275/30
will that A)Rub at all? B)Extend past the fenders C)Require me to roll the fenders?
If yes to any of the three questions, what needs to change to prevent. I do not want to do any of the three things above.
Thanks all.

Since you're considering 20's, I can't say for sure. But, I've got a set of 19x10's with a +45 offset and 275/30's, lowered on H&R springs. I ran the wheels with a 10mm spacer, so effectively a 19x10 +35 with 275/30's and the rears rubbed a bit. I slapped on a 5mm spacer, and it's all good. So, basically 19x10 +40 with 275/30's clear with a mild drop, NO PRoBS! As for the fronts, (at least from what I've read on here) if you run a 235/35 you should be ok with a mild drop, but you may get occasional rubbing. If you want to be 100% sure, go with 225/35's and you'll be golden.

Ok.....this is really starting to drive me nuts.....just got off the phone. The rims I wont are either a +30 or +40 off set on the front.
19x8.5 +30 w/ 225/35
20x10 +35 w/ 275/30
Any rubbing, fender rolling, extending past the fender issue keeping in mind it will be lowered with H&R springs sometime in the future?

I'm on H&R's with 19x10's +45 with 275/30's and when I ran a 10mm spacer (effectively a +35) I rubbed. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be worse with 20's? In any case, If you really like those wheels, why don't you run a them and go with a 265/30. I'm pretty sure that you'll be ok, but again, I'm running 19's, not 20's.

need help on rear wheel fittment, got 19x9.5 +34, I know alot of ppl runs 275/30/19 for the rear, what other option do I have if I want THICKER tires.
example: 255/35/19, 245/35/19, 265/35/19 (don't see this size often) and 275/35/19
I was planning to buy the Bridgestone RE760, I only see them in 235/35/19, 245/35/19 and 270/30/19 ( don't want to run 30, too thin)
so what should I run for the rear?
