What do you guys think of a 285/30/20 instead of a 285/25/20?? The offset of the wheels is 45.

i dont get the post above me.

but the dangers are usually just bubbles, you get em if you run over a pothole or hit something hard.

bubbles can lead to a flat tire

275/30/20 on 20x10.5 is hardly a stretch.

i agree with blksrpnt... a stretch on 10.5 would be running somwhere on the 265 range,...

hahah I am running 235s on 10's on my s14 (rear)

and 265s on 10.5s on my EVO IX

The EVO IX is now a dedicated track car now w/ 275 R-comps (no more stretching).

275/30 is a baby stretch if not a stretch at all. Im going to run a 245/35 on a 10.5....Youll be good on FL roads.

yeah, i dont think 275 on a 10.5 is a stretch at all. at 275 the tire still should be sticking out a little farther than the rim lip

Most of the guys here are running 245 on a 10 and 10.5 wheels. at that much stretch up to half a inch of bare lip is sticking out past your tire wall.

but to answer you question the dangers.... it makes it 10x easier to get wheel damage.

You'll be fine with 275/30/20. I'm on 19's and i'm running 265/30/19's and thats barely a stretch, its kind of scary to drive in Cali cause we have some awful roads. You're lucky to be in FL

yea but you're not supposed to curb your rims reguardless if the tire is stretched or NASCAR phat, right? i run stretch 225 9in front/245 10in rear and i have no problems at all... well ok i really gotta watch for the potholes but doesn't everyone?

i think im a pothole magnet though.... 3 rims with pothole damage and my front left has a chunk missing on the tire
