I've seen and do agree that f-sport lowering springs do not give that much of a drop.

I've also seen Prokit for IS250 gives a good drop....

Nice choice on wheels.. doing anything about not having a center cap?

id say get eibach's for the 250, h&r's, or teins. people always regret not dropping it a little more unless you're content with a mild drop.

go S-Techs or something else... the Volks needs no Hubcentric rings if they are already custom made from japan... make sure u do get something that clears BBK.... other than that..it looks good...it's better to buy your BBK first since they are on sale though

I say go with H&r springs. It'll make your rims look hot.

Get 19" wheels! If your going aftermarket, might as well bring the size up a little! Plus it will fill in the wheel gap a little.

edit: didnt see you were going to use your existing tires.

HUBCENTRIC RINGS:
-aluminum preferred over plastic

Any particular reason you prefer aluminum over plastic? I can't stand the aluminum ones - they're difficult to get off, and warp/bend easily when you do get them off. My recommendation is to get the plastic ones.

I'd go with H&R's over the F-Sport springs. Better drop for pretty much the same price (if not cheaper).

That's not true. Volks come in a 72mm center bore, requiring a 72-60.1mm hub ring for use on any Lexus/Toyota vehicle.

+38 will be fine to clear the F-Sport BBK.

I am in the similar situation as coconut but i want to go for +30 for the rear wheel. I have a 250 with Tein CS coilover drop. Am I going to have any rubbing issue if i'm using the stock 255/40 rear tire?

ppl talking about clearing a bbk, it has nothing to do with the offset, it has to do with the disk (face of the rims), if you plan on putting on a BBK or even a 350 brake swap you'll need a R disk or High disk, different brands use different names. Buy the rims correctly then you wont have to run spacers

IMO you will probably want to go lower later to eliminate the wheel gap you will probably still have after F-sport or Eibach springs..

Also
Which work wheels you planning on getting?
19's!
