Buy the rims correctly then you wont have to run spacers
Good point, but some wheels only offer one disk pattern, so you have to consider offset as well. Well said on the buying rims correctly.

Coilovers are a no go since all I want is a modest drop and I can't afford the 2-3 week down time every 40k miles to rebuild the coilovers since this is my only car.

I actually prefer the sportier (IMO) look of 18"s, not to mention the lower cost of tires overall and more comfortable ride (40 series tire). 18"s can look awesome if done right, just look at t0e, JabyLSU and Demiks cars.

I'll definitely look into the Eibach 250's and H&R Springs as well as plastic hub rings.

I'm pretty sure the F-Sport BBK will clear my 18"s since tOe has the same rims and BBK (Stoptech).

I've heard +30 might be to aggresive if your slammed. You might need to roll your fenders.

Thats not slammed, thats just about the perfect drop IMO. Even gap all around.
I guess slammed is no finger gap to negative find gap

They just recommend once every 40k miles. But rarely any people actually rebuild their coilovers ever 40k. I know people who have 100k on their coilovers and its fine.

Even if you drop your car on springs, eventually your stock shock will blow which mean you will either have to invest in some new ones or upgrade it.

Just my .02. Do it right the first time. I learned from my mistake on my old car. I dropped on springs and was not happy with ride quality and drop.

Can anyone else confirm this? This is new info to me.

Would it be worth it to get Tein CS coilovers if I only plan on a mild 1.2" drop all around? Will there be a big difference comfort wise compared to Eibach IS250 springs will stock shocks?

If you use your coilovers for regular street driving, they should last for at least 50K +More. I know a few people who had their coils for over 70K and they're still going! they have never rebuilt the coils yet. And when asked about rebuilding coils they just told me "Just sell it or buy new coils, because rebuilding coils is probably the same amount as new coilovers"
