Default trans question

i was just wondering how often or around what mileage are we supposed to check the transmission for matainence on the lexus is350. thanks

75k...unless i'm mistaken. That's the standard for the latest family of toyota transmissions.

You're mistaken.

At least according to the US spec, there is no maintenance at all for the IS350 transmission, and the fluid is good for the life of the transmission.

You couldn't even change it if you wanted to.

For the automatic, yes.... the manual can be serviced however.
