Definitely the hardest part. The cup holder is a PITA too but I called Sewell and they said the trim can be removed from the cup holder assembly. Im just too afraid to break it lol.

See ExTrEmE99's post below yours. It is pretty darn flexible so wrapping is not a problem. It is also pretty easily cut. Just make sure you cut all the way through first before pulling apart or else it will frill possibly.

Great DIY im sure your helping a ton of people with this guide!

PaPaHoFF,

Thanks so much for putting this extensive write up together.

Can you take some close up shots of the shifter console from different angles with the cup holder open and the ashtray as well?

Many thanks.

Sure no problem. Let me take some today and I will add it when I get off of work.

Yes on the Clear coated wood parts. You can just use some of the Adhesive cleaner or IPA to remove the residue after you peel it off.

On the silver trim it may not be reversible!
I had to re wrap my silver pieces next to the ashtry because I did the weave wrong and when I pulled it off and cleaned it, the paint was all cracked in multiple areas. I mean if you still want to go back to stock, you can just get the silver repainted.
