Thanks. Yeah, I'm not to picky on stance just so long as they don't tuck in further than they already do. What's got me worried though is the 255/40R18 tire on an 18x8" wheel. I'm not sure how much that tire is going to bulge over the lip of the wheel. I'm not one for the stretched look but to much tire bulge may look weird. On a truck wheel/tire I would expect it. On my IS350 I just don't know.

18X8 for front and rear. I recommend going with stock 8.5 for rear.

I say its all preference and what you are trying to achieve. I have 19's as summer wheels and 18's for the winter. to be honest I think I like 18's better. they handle better and they keep you a bit closer to the ground.

I not understanding why u all using 8-8.5 wide on the front?

I looking at 9.5wide offset 35 all round with 225x40x18 tyres front and 245x40x18 rear

Can anyone advise? As there looks to be room I lowered 3inch at the moment but can be adjusted on coilovers

On my 2IS I have 18x9.5 +35 with 245/40's and i was fine. I cant be SLAMMED but i didnt want to be. I think it gave that perfect Battle Stance look. I may put some spacers in the rear to bring it out a bit too or go with a lower offset wheel but I loved it. And this was with things NOT rolled or cut. The only thing I had to worry about was bumper clips upfront that didnt like it but that was easily resolved

Cheers! I think if I go for 18x9.5j et35 all round I probs get away with 225x40x18 front and 245x40x18 rear with lows lol

There is no benefit to putting to different tire sizes on the same size rim. Especially if you are AWD because you will have different rolling diameter and mess up your drive train. I would stick to the same size all around and maybe meet n the middle at a 235. I know everyone loves the fat rear tires but not at the expense of your drive train

It's a euro RWD pal it's got 225/45/17 front and 245/45/17 rear as standard so was thinking should stagger tyres?
