G35 & G37 Coupe Seats VS IS Seats
Ok. So... My friend got a G35 Coupe in "O.K" condition. The only thing that he has to brag about the car is the "amazing" and "superb" seats that don't compare in comfort to the one's in the IS. I was like uhh. Vented seats FTW... He said no (he's kinda stubborn), the G's have way better seats, doesn't even matter if they have vented seats or not. What do you guys think? Are the G coupe seats that much better, or better at all compared to the IS seats?

Had this convo with about 3 friends of mine. They all have G's for the past year or so. Anyways all three have them have driven my IS and I have driven their G's. Both on long trips and short trips. Overall, the IS seats are def better. G's seats are alittle more sportier meaning they hold you in. But thats the problem. Its too enclosed. IS seats in my opinion and theirs are that its alot more luxurious and much more cushiony. Also the leather is much softer and it doesnt hug you too tight. Its much more comfortable.

The seats in the F should be an option on the 250/350. They beat a lot of good seats out there. Everyone who has sat in them remarks at how comfortable and still sport oriented they feel. I like them better than my co-worker's G35 for sure.

considering i almost got a g37s, i liked the seats in the g37 better, they offered more support and the bottom seat cushion was longer. sure the seats in the IS are a bit more comfortable, but if i wanted seats to be comfortable and offer almost no lateral support i would have gotten an LS. anyways, the best seats are the ones in the mercedes C63 amg. those seats should be in all cars and if you cant fit, you shouldnt be driving.

hahaha C63 AMG is fcukinn bad@$$. i think the IS seats are a lot more comfortable and cushiony, if that's a word..more luxurious not so much sporty. now to be honest, can't do the gangsta lean in these thingss, you can never get comfortable..wtf. lol now evo's n sti's..ouch, i think they include a 1 year free chiropractic care haha, G's n Z's are comfy but very stiff, not for the long rides :/, more for sport use.

I drove a 2009 infinity G37 sedan and liked the seats, steering feal. ride and handling better than the IS350.The G37 was a sport and I compared it to the 06 IS350 I use to own with sport handling package.I however, reordered the 09 IS350 because of the engine that is sweeter and stronger feeling inspite of advertised 328 hp on the G37.Hope Lexus has improved ride and handling on the sport suspension IS350 I have on order.!

The G's seats are nicer on short trips as they feel more sporty....but once you sit in them for more than 1/2 hour, I'd rather have my IS seats...
I must admit, the IS seats do become uncomfortable after 1 hour driving...no matter what I do to make the adjustments...I remember this came up a while back with other memebers.

I think a person's size may make a difference too. My wife and I are very slim. She has a MB CLK and the side bolsters are great compared to my IS 350. But I have a couple of friends that are 6'2" and 220# and they feel squeezed in the CLK.
