Default Poll: What to do with flat tire?

Since we just recently had about ~8" of snow yesterday...i thought, why not go out and have a little fun in some empty parking lots. everything was fine and great when i got home around 2:30pm, i parked the car outside. before i was heading off to sleep, i turned on the news for some strange reason and just heard that there was a wind chill advisory for the night; 0 degrees. So i thought to myself, i better park the car in the garage. so i get in the car and start her up and begin to pull into the garage. i feel like something is holding me back from driving, but i just think it to be the cold weather my engine just endured. as i pull into the garage, i look back and i notice a flat tire so i curse out loud and scream a little.

so this morning, i took off my wheels and put the stocks back on before i left to go to school. i put 30psi of pressure into the tire that was flat before i left. 5 1/2 hours pass and i go and check back on the tire; 23psi. so i figured its a miniscule hole. so what should i do? ^poll.

Get it repaired unless it's past that point. Then you should get a new one.

We should never replace one tire, unless that tire is almost new. Always replace at least two on the same axle. On a performance car, replace all four.

If your tire is safe to be repaired, patch it from the inside, no plug, unless it's a patch and plug combo.

Go to Walmart and buy a tire plug kit for about $7. Read the instructions and fix it yourself.

I believe those mushroom shaped patch-plug combos, inserted from the inside, are now considered the "gold standard" flat repair. For the OEM Dunlops that came with my car, this is what the manufacturer recommends: http://www.dunloptires.com/care/damage.html
