hey everyone i received an email today from import tuner saying that they are offering me an opportunity to have my car on the front cover!!!!! for $60 that is

the link will take you to there site and it let you upload your own photo and create your own import tuner cover. just wanna share this "rare" opportunity with everyone.

any taker??? maybe we can do a GB hahaha

Um, usually you don't have to pay to be front cover, that's auctioning a position as a center-fold.

i think wired did something similar but they didn't charge 60 bucks per...

you will probably get your own issue with your own car on the cover... this is what wired did. you uploaded a photo of you and your location and they showed your face on google maps over your area. kinda fun and nerdy.

they charge you 60 to go to the website and upload your photo onto a fake import tuner cover. they arent going to actually print it and have a magazine behind it, its just for you to print out??

i actually went through the whole process to see what happen and i think what you get is not a magazine but your car on the cover and they frame the cover and send it to you. so you dont get the whole magazine but just a frame of the cover shot, i thinks its kinda like a memento

I don't even think that's really part of import tuner magazine. Looks like a printing company using "import tuner" name to make some money on prints. Kinda fishy and scam like to me. On that note. I'll only charge 40 bucks and send u a cover shot of your car on any magazine u choose. Haha

fist, i dont think its a scam scam because i dont think import tuner would allow their name to be used for free like that,
2nd, i think that import tuner team up with another company and have this deal for some extra cash in this tough economy.
3rd, this was meant to be a joke, guess some people took it a little serious hahaha sorry, maybe it wasn't as funny as i thought.
