Default Is this covered under warranty?

I recently noticed a few things:

1. The windshield rubber seal has cracked (pic 1). A piece seems to be missing as well on the top of the windshield on the driver's side (pic 2)

2. Part of the rear driver's side window seal appears to be cracking (pic 3).

Will they replace this under warranty if I bring to a dealership?

Thanks.

p.S. sorry for the quality of these pics. they were taken with an iphone.

Yes if it wasn't caused by an accident or abuse.

As long as you have under 50,000 miles, it should be covered.

When I was under 50k miles, they fixed EVERYTHING that broke in my car, including blown speakers! Perhaps it was the dealer I took it too, but I didn't pay a dime to repair anything.

i had this happen around my windshield also and they replaced it under warranty. they seemed surprised to see it after only 1.5 years. guessing it was a bad batch of rubber they said.

I got mine replaced free of charge and the squeaky seat tsib. On the other hand the stealership did not want to do the tsib even though it squeaked like hell but they cracked my windshield removing the trim like tards so they did the tsib no questions asked..

yea go for it...be confident and don't let the dealer walk over you...if they do...then you might be screwed...

i have the same issue with mine. my warranty is up and i am thinking about purchasing an extended warranty. My plan would be to purchase an extended warranty and take my car to the dealership a month later to have them fix the windshield seal ( i hope this works).

I will post my pics tomorrow.

Cheap quality rubber by lexus. Mine is cracking as well. My 15 year old suzuki car that i drove for 8 years never has a problem of rubber seals cracking. Otoh, my 1972 car had this problem all the time. Is lexus moving back in time?
