looks kinda blue...needed the real white one like the audi's...but most people say, leave it to audi...I've seen some SUV here in LA that have HALO'S and LED looks TACKY and STUPID, kinda like tying to fit in to something, but like llama said as long as ur are HAPPYYYY WEEEEE!!!

since these are gonna be DRL.. how are u gonna blend out that black strip when its bright outside? also.. once you move it to the inside of your headlight housing.. how are u gonna mount it since the double sided tape is on the backside.. just a few thoughts..

I would not advocate BMW halos, nor the sexy Audi design.

Uhh, how about this, something unique?

Yes, I will be trying my own stuff soon

looks hot IMO! loose the angel eyes and make the LEDs permanent on the inside of the headlight... you're bound to start the new trend haha

Haha.. From seeing this thread I guess I did. As I said before, it's just experimental for me. I hope someone would take it to the next level (ie. placing it inside the headlights, bigger brighter more spaced out LEDs, curving them, etc etc..) If I have time, I'll try redoing the LEDs again just to give people an idea of how it'd look before trying it out themselves.

Hi there.. I guess it doesn't look too obvious on mine as I had the headlights painted black. I'm still contemplating whether to proceed with the whole LED idea or not..so basically it's still 50/50. The same question about mounting the strip inside the headlights llingered in my mind but a friend of mine (a fabricator) said that custom-made thin panel can be molded into a shape so that it follows the contour on the bottom (or the sides if I wish) of my headlights. Both ends of the panel will the be curved in a way so that it can be used to stick and hold the panel in place. Then the strip would just stick onto the panel. He sounded confident but it was not enough to convince me to take the plunge.

Audi DRL's look like cheap Christmas lights to me. Even on the drop dead gorgeous R8, the DRL's cheapen it.

I think it's in bad taste to copy another brands signature bits.

I'm lovin' this ...just wondering if this can last for a long time because my friend's angel eyes burn every 5 to 6 months of period.
