3485 lbs for a TSX 4 cylinder? Dang........ That's heavier than what I read before. If that's the case, yep, for a 6 cylinder it'll be considerably heavier. It may even weigh more than the 3rd gen TL 6MT, which weighs 3478~ 3490 lbs. My forecast is that the new TSX V6 *could* accelerate as slow as 7 seconds from 0-60 LOL. Remember.... tall gears 5 speed, will make it ultimately a slow car. That's still about a second faster than the 4 cylinder version TSX though.
I am sorry, but I can't stand slow cars..... That car is just too slow for today's standard. Sorry mate. LOL.

An 09 TL-AT weighs in at 3726. I would guess a V6 TSX would weigh in at 3600lbs - 3650lbs... which is pretty heavy.

I know very well about the 3rd gen TL models as I have owned one for 2 years.. The 3rd gen Type-S is heavier than the 3rd gen regular trim TL. The Type-S 6MT weighs between 3515~ 3550 range.
Type-S 5AT weighs around 3670~ 3680.
Regular version 6MT weighs 3478 (without the NAVI) and 3497 (with the NAVI)
Regular version 5AT weighs somewhere in the 3600+ range.
The lightest 3rd gen TL is the regular version 6MT, like what I used to own.
So yeah, looks like the new V6 TSX could weigh more than the 3rd gen TL 6MT....
He he... actually bunch of guys at acura forums don't like the new TL either. TSX is kind of ugly too.

You know to this day when I see a nice 3rd gen TL (I can't help but look with most of them driving around with high beams on) I still always take a 2nd look. Its just a great looking car inside and out. I am so unsure how they just threw that nearly perfectly shaped car out and came with these new monstrosities.
Bottom line the TSX V-6 will be a nice car but its again nothing more than a V-6 Accord and we already have that. Euro Accord V-6 and USDM V-6.
