trade in for the newTSX coming this summer?

I too think it's decent looking. I test drove it last summer with my sister right when the '09s came out before she decided on a new '08 model w/ navi instead and I have to say it was far from impressive. interior was subpar (it has nothing on the IS), steering was terrible (my sister's '08 is worse), and the stock rims are too plain and boring. a few positives I guess would be that it's cheaper and the stock acura HID's are probably the best in its class (including the lexus IS). the new V6 engine would help obviously, although I'd imagine the price would move up to or past the 250's msrp.. and what, for a fast TSX? that's ridiculous. a definite deal breaker.

If its for a daily driver, I'd take one over the IS250...the TSX will have lot more features as a standard, whereas on the IS250 they will be options.

okey...
i test drove one (new Body) long time ago... the inline 4 ones... its not bad... and i live in Canada, Toronto... where it snows most of the year and you can only enjoy RWD for 4-5 months MAX.... rest of the year my car rides on 225/45/17 snow tires.. which are disgusting .. lol... the back is 245 but still... and to be honest... i have no issues... nothing serious!! lol... i got stock in little side streets a couple of time (4 times to be exact) so.. RWD with snow tires (good ones, which will cost you around 1G, maybe a bit higher or lower, but definetly around that price) you get no problems... so AWD is a waste of life and money. okey going back on the subject of TSX... its a good car, i drove the Stick, it does have torque steer but not as much as my old SRT-4... that car would change lanes by itself... and speed wise, it wasnt faster... i actually raced one 2 weeks ago, on snow and my car smoked him (not really smoked but i was ahead of him the whole time - till 160km/h, then i stopped) and to be honest... in the end its a honda.. i dunno... im not crazy about it... honestly i would rather buy a C300 4matic, or this is a crazy one GLK350!!! it is actually good, its fast... it runs in 6ish... and it looks nice, and it will address ur issue of AWD... so to be honest... dont buy a TSX... its just not for u... buy something else.. dont downgrade... always upgrade... its like moving from Audi A4 to Passat!!!!! i would never do it.. even thou the new Passat CC looks pretty goood...
bottom line... dont buy it... waist of money!!!!

im a fan of everything except the size and front grille, kinda liked that the first gen was more compact. otherwise, beautiful car imo, saw a color-matched front grille the other day and it made the front-end look more appealing and finally, a more powerful engine...losing the mpg tho?

TSX's are hot...but yea, i agree that the FWD being sort of a set back. And with 280hp...it will definitely run downt he 250...but you can't beat the style of the IS...
So it's a matter of sacrificing style for performance and vice versa... good luck!

I say keep the Lexus, everyone i know said that Acura is not on the same level as Lexus luxury wise, not even close. And do you really want to pay that much for just a glorified Honda? If you go anywhere other than North America, people would not know what an Acura is, and it doesn't exist in Japan. I've seen kids put "H" emblems on their RSX to resemble the JDM version of Honda RSX, but you'll never find a person putting a Toyota emblem on the Lexus. Ask 10 people which car is nicer, gauranteed 9 out of 10 if not 10 out of 10 will say the IS is a nicer car hands down
