Default Just got my Tein S Tech installed

I just got my Tein S tech springs installed by AA autoworks in Van Nuys for $100! S.Cal people I high recommand them as these people who works there are very professional and quick. They are young and easy to get along with. Anyways. Im very please with my spring ride comfort as I can only notice a SLIGHT different from my stock springs. I was amazed. Few years back when I lowered my Acura CL, I had completely lost my ride comfort and it was way to rough but with IS250 I could barely tell the different! wow. Anyways one point I am disappointed is that my front is still higher then the back even with teins 1.6 drop front and 1.2 drop in the back. Maybe I have to let it settle for few days but I got the springs used. Ill post the pictures few days after it settles hopefully.

I think the front ride height is a typo on the Tein site. I thought it was around 1.2-1.4"

How much does H&R drop? I thought Tein S-Tech was the spring that drops the most. damn it.

Sorry, but if you were expecting a significant drop, you selected the wrong springs. You really should have visited the suspension forums or asked around about the Teins and their "moderate" drop. If you get tired of the springs, you can always upgrade to coil overs or just get another set of springs.

But I really think you should give the springs some time to settle, it should drop a little more once it is settled.

On the bright side, $100 for install is a really good price.

i couldnt really tell a whole lot of difference either from my stock and S techs. I switched to megan coils a few weeks or so ago and i love them! So if you're interested in a drastic drop and handling, i highly recommend megans! just FYI.

I don't think the H&R lowers more than Tein S techs, the H&R has 1.4" Front and 1.3" Rear drop.

The Tein S tech lowers 1.6" Front and 1.2" Rear. So figure that out.

The only springs that is lower than both are the Road Magnet Springs which are meant for AWD only. The other are the 3GS Tanabe DF210 .
