Reset Change Oil Light?
Ok So here's the deal.
I'm in Canada, and I got my car from the US.
So the change oil light came on a few months ago.
I figure why not change the oil. When I went to change it, the guy in service tells me that they have to put a note in my file to reset the light. And the reason for this was because 'apparently' only US cars have this warning.
is this true? canadian cars don't have this light (exclamation in triangle)?
assuming it is true and I decide to go to a non lexus garage to get an oil change, will the guys at the garage know how to reset this, is there a way I can do it?
thanks guys

it all in the frequently ask questions but you can reset it your self
o reset the oil change system, follow the procedure below:
1. Turn the engine switch OFF
2. While pressing the trip meter reset **** (-->P.100), set the engine switch to the IG-ON mode. Continue to press and hold the **** until the trip meter displays 000000.
So in other words:
- engine off
- hold down trip meter reset
- tap the start/stop button twice, making sure your foot is off the brake, and continue to hold down the button until the display resets.
