Introduction & Clear Bra Removal
Hey guys, i've been a lurker for quite some time and finally bought an is250 last week. i actually purchased it off of a member here on CL. its a GFM is250 w/ xpackage, front and rear lip kit, navi/dvd, perf leather, hids, etc etc etc. i will take some pictures this weekend once i wash the car.
now my question is, has anyone removed a clear bra before. ive searched how to do it, but have never seen anything where someone has actually done it. i wanted to get yellow overlays, however i will need to take off the clear bra on the fogs. anyone have any experience with this? should i have Scott Kim do it (he originally put the clear bra on) or is it easy enough for me to do. thanks in advance guys.

get a steamer and steam it off or you can just peel it off but it will leave adhesive residue and can get real messy. In some cases its known to rip off clear coat. Who knows you might get lucky and it comes of clean. Just take your time and peel it slowly.
